Abstract :
We report the preparation of the self-supported films based on the tetrathiafulvalene (TTF)/polymer composites as all-organic flexible conductive materials. The polymer composite films containing TTF nanofibers were fabricated using various kinds of the lipophilic polymer matrices. From the evaluation of conductivity, transparency, and the film-formability of the composite, several tendencies were observed. The increase of the conductivity of the films corresponded to the decrease of the transparency. The decrease of the molecular weight of the polymer matrices contributed to the increase of the conductivity and the decrease of the film-formability. Finally, we accomplished to obtain the self-supported flexible films with the higher conductivity than those of the TTF crystal films. The condensation of the TTF nanofibers at the surfaces contributes to obtaining higher conductivity and maintaining good film-formability.
