Abstract :
The complex fluorides LiHoF4 and LiEuF4 with scheelite structures were synthesized by a mild hydrothermal method and characterized by means of powder X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy, differential thermal and thermogravimetric analyses, and infrared spectroscopy.
