Theoretical frames for smart structures

Structures able to perform cognitive tasks are studied here. We considered hierarchically organized structures on more conditioning levels, learning in stochastic conditions. Mathematical models for smart structuresʹ activity, a “perfect mixing” and a “plug flow” model have been developed. The relation with classical designs of experiment and the role of Walsh-Hadamard waves for pattern recognition and classification are emphasized. A frame allowing such waves is proposed.
