Abstract
New kinetics sensitive double-step voltcoulometry (DSVCM) was used in the experiments. The surface of working carbon ultramicroelectrode was modified by the LB-deposited polythiophene film. The significantly enhanced sensitivity of voltcoulometric determination of Cu and Fe cation species in water solution is documented by calibration curves for both the bare and the coated electrodes in the concentration range of 10–400 ng/ml. The dependence of the charge response on the number of deposited monolayers is presented. The characteristic properties of the “memory effect” are discussed.
