An EPSRC view of the nanotechnology horizon

This paper gives a perspective on nanotechnology research policy from the UK Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC) having a mission to support the highest-quality research and related postgraduate training for the benefit of the UK. The paper reviews the UK approach to the support of nanotechnology and the importance of user engagement in shaping the long-term research agenda. The paper comments on future prospects for the UK.
