Abstract :
Layer quasiperiodical structures (Fibonacci superlattices) were grown by pulse laser deposition on thin glass and BaF2 substrates. The optical spectrum in the IR region shows peculiarities connected with the semisimilarity of the energy spectrum of the density of states. The localization of carriers in the quasiperiodical superlattice, which increases in an electric field and on cooling, causes a decrease in optical transparency of the superlattice.
