Abstract
The dependence on the concentration and hydrogen content of the low temperature second moments of proton magnetic resonance signals in amorphous Ni-Zr alloys is interpreted in terms of a simple polytetrahedral model for the short range order around a hydrogen atom. The highest number of hydrogen atoms in the first coordination shell around the central proton is three according to this analysis.
