Abstract
Two types of heat-shrinkable ferromagnetic composites, conducting and non-conducting, with an elastomer matrix are described. The temperature changes of length and magnetic permeability of the composites are presented. In the conducting composites the temperature increase was caused by the passage of a current through the composites.
