Abstract
The dual reciprocity boundary element method (DRBEM) has been developed to solve unsteady heat transfer problems with phase change moving interface and non-linear thermophysical properties. Numerical simulation of the heat transfer in Bridgman growth process of semi-transparent crystals has been made. Some results of transient temperature fields and time marching solid-liquid phase-change moving interface in the crystal growth are presented in this paper.
