Abstract :
The influences of low temperature nitridization on the microstructure and optical property of tin oxide nanocrystallines have been studied by in situ nitridization technology at selected temperatures. The charaterization of microstructure and optical properties are studied by XRD, TEM/HRTEM, FTIR and UV-Vis methods. The product tin oxide nanocrystallines are prone to arrange into chain-like array when niridized higher than 200 °C. In addition, the nitridization temperature can also affect the optical absorption of such semiconductor due to the changes of microstructure and free electron concentration on the material surface defects.
