RETRACTED: Preparation and characterization of poly(vinyl chloride) calcium phosphate nanocomposites

Please see Elsevier Policy on Article Withdrawal (http://www.elsevier.com/locate/withdrawalpolicy). rticle has been retracted at the request of the editor as the authors have plagiarized part of a paper that had already appeared in Composites Science and Technology 68 (2008) 3220–3229 (doi:10.1016/j.compscitech.2008.08.008) and The Journal of Physical Chemistry C, 2009, 113 (1), 97–104 (doi:10.1021/jp8065579). Furthermore, the authors have claimed part of the data that appeared in the above manuscripts as their own result. One of the conditions of submission of a paper for publication is that authors declare explicitly that their work is original and has not appeared in a publication elsewhere. Re-use of any data should be appropriately cited. This article therefore represents a severe abuse of the scientific publishing system and procedures. The scientific community takes a very strong view on this matter and we sincerely apologize to readers of the journal that this was not detected during the submission process.
