Abstract :
The variation of instantaneous work hardening rate (θ) with plastic strain rate ( ε ˙ p ) for P91 steel indicated that θ – ε ˙ p plots can be represented by a single master curve for the temperature range 300–873 K. A linear correlation between θ and reciprocal of plastic strain rate ( 1 / ε ˙ p ) independent of temperature is obtained.
