The necessity of dynamic precipitation for the occurrence of no-recrystallization temperature in Nb-microalloyed steel

In this paper, the temperature of no recrystallization (Tnr) was studied for a steel microalloyed with Nb–Mo and Ti, using multi-pass torsion testing. It is shown that the Tnr occurs in the pass immediately following the pass in which a significant level of dynamic precipitation takes place. TEM studies are also conducted to confirm the presence of these precipitates immediately after the Tnr.
