Country specific effect in the Feldstein¯Horioka paradox: a panel data analysis

Using panel data methods, this study leads to a new interpretation of the Feldstein¯Horioka paradox. A high estimated saving¯investment coefficient may be due less to low capital mobility than to the existence of specific individual country effects.
