Abstract
An inverse method, effective at picosecond intervals between the pulse centers of two photomultiplier (PMT) single pulses, caused by the arriving of two single photons is developed and analyzed by a computer model. The method is also applicable to overlapping pulses and it does not require an use of discrimination techniques. The accuracy of a single measurement is of order of the temporal jitter of the best PMTs. In averaging regime and proper noise levels, an accuracy of order of 10 ps may be expected.
