Abstract
Neutron energy, fluence rate, angular distributions and dose equivalent rate distributions around thick Be, Cu, Au targets bombarded by a 50 MeV/u 18O-ion beam were measured by using a threshold detector activation method. The neutron yields and emission rates in the forward direction were obtained.
