Abstract
Coherent inelastic Mِssbauer scattering (CIMS) of synchrotron radiation (SR) at an isotope interface (plane interface between two regions differing only in the concentration of the Mِssbauer isotope) is investigated theoretically. Main attention is paid to the CIMS component resulting from SR quanta absorption by Mِssbauer nuclei accompanied by creation or annihilation of the phonons in sample and following recoilless reemission of Mِssbauer quanta.
