Electronics for the μ→eγ experiment

A new experiment at PSI searches for the forbidden decay μ→eγ with a sensitivity down to 10−14. This challenging experiment requires a series of new electronics in the trigger, the data acquisition and the slow control part. The described electronics not only satisfies the high demands in the sense of rate and resolution of the experiment, but is also significantly cheaper than conventional solutions.
