It is proposed to use a noise of shadow images for a study of small-scale (1–100 μm) heterogeneities in the medum with the shock and detonation waves. merical estimations showed the possibility of the determination of the corresponding noise components for the image formed by the single SR flash of VEPP-3 viggler.
