  • Abstract
    The fineness of a composite open resonator for a compact X-ray source is calculated. The region of the resonator parameters has been found where its fineness is unessentially changed, the excited mode remains Gaussian (with maximum at the axis of the laser beam) and the effective head-on collision of laser and electron beams is realized.
