Abstract :
Results are presented of tests with a prototype of a partial sector of the ATLAS SCT barrel and end-cap. This setup simulates the geometry and the electrical configuration of the final SCT detector in all its details of mounting, cooling, supply and shielding. An overview of the performances of the system and its components is presented in this paper.
