Abstract :
Images of negatively stained viruses obtained with the Medipix2 hybrid detector in an electron microscope operating at 120 keV are presented. The images illustrate some of the practical uses and potential of the Medipix2 with its unique combination of noiseless detection, high DQE and high MTF.
