Developmental status of a server system for the MLF general control system

The Materials and Life Science Experimental Facility (MLF) of J-PARC has a general control system (MLF-GCS) that controls all the MLF subsystems including the muon and neutron targets, the moderator, the cooling system, the remote handling systems, etc. And although the MLF-GCS is an independent control system it does have to work in close coordination with the accelerator and other facility control systems within J-PARC. F-GCS consists of a main control system and some servers, which include a data server, a WEB server, an EPICS server, a camera server and an information display server. The server systems play an important role in realizing advanced independent control of the MLF. The design and construction of the server systems are almost complete, and their improvement and optimization is now in progress.
