Abstract :
Carvedilol–MMT was prepared by solution, melt and grinding intercalation. The intercalated carvedilol/MMT (CV/MMT) systems were characterized by elemental analysis, FT-IR spectroscopy, powder X-ray diffraction, thermogravimetric, and transmission electron microscopic analyses. The release of the drug was studied by the in vitro release studies.
