Abstract :
Too short arcs of the uncorrelated targets acquired by space-based optical sensor brought a new challenge to the conventional methods of the orbit determination and the correlation of the arcs. In this paper, the concepts of the Attribute and the Admissible Region were introduced, and a triangulation subdivision and iterative searching method was put forward based on the triangulation node sorting by the cost function values. The original correlation of the arcs is attempted using the convergence characteristics of the predictive cost function. Simulation results indicated that this new method could converge rapidly and effectively.
