Abstract
A palaeomagnetic study carried out on late Pleistocene sediments from the sub-soil of the city of Bahيa Blanca (38.75 °S, 62.25 °W) indicate an event or excursion of the geomagnetic field. Radiocarbon dates the excursion between 27500 and 35500 ybp. It could be the same as that recorded in Mungo Lake (Australia).
