Elastic energy of deformation of the earth

The relatively perfect earth model PREM is adopted, and the vector of deformation displacement is obtained by solving the fundamental dynamic equations of an elastic earth. The elastic energy of deformation is then computed separately for the lunisolar tide-generating potential and the centrifugal potential of the earth rotation. The results provide an order-of-magnitude evaluation of the perturbation terms to the Hamiltonian for the dynamics of the elastic earth. Further research should include the viscosity of the earth mantle when evaluating the elastic energy of deformation.
