Abstract
Solving the nonlinear model of an aeroengine is converted to an optimization problem, and thus some optimization search methods can be used. An approach to solving the nonlinear model of an aeroengine by use of the genetic algorithm (GA) is developed. By comparison with N-R algorithm, the accuracy of the values of initial guesses is not required for GA. Especially, the approach developed can be used when no priori knowledges of the values of initial guesses are availabe, and the convergence is improved significantly. GA properly combined with N-R algorithm can increase the convergence speed.
