Atom Probe Studies of Nanocrystallization of Amorphous Alloys

The primary crystallization reaction of amorphous alloys often leads to the evolution of nanocrystalline microstructures that gives rise to excellent magnetic or mechanical properties. This paper reviews recent atom probe studies on the microstructure evolution of nanocrystalline and nanocomposite metallic materials that are produced by the nanocrystallization phenomena of amorphous alloys.
