Paléoclimats et mécanismes climatiques

Résumé rit les deux mécanismes conduisant aux deux types principaux de paléoclimats, chaud et froid, ayant affecté lʹensemble de la Terre depuis le refroidissement post-mésozoïque et la création du Gulf Stream (ce dernier ayant imposé les alternances entre les périodes chaudes et les glaciations dans lʹhémisphère nord depuis le Pliocène).
