Abstract :
Several cerebral matter vibratory tests are reviewed from the literature; the goal of these tests was always the characterisation of this matter and the modelling of its behaviour law to introduce it in the EF models calculation code. perimental curve of the transfer module function according to the vibration frequency (between 40 and 600 Hz) has been achieved with laser vibrometry. The transfer function expression associated to the multilayered model of Kelvin–Voigt (KV) types has also been determined. mi-linear approach based on the Maxwell type model did not permit the description of the cerebral matterʹs vibratory behaviour in the interval between 340 and 500 Hz. A non-linear model of the KV type has been proposed in this Note. A new procedure for the determination of the parameters of the KV model has been presented. These parameters permitted the convergence of the theoretical transfer function toward the experimental transfer function. The non-linear approach based on the model of KV permits one to model the transfer function over all the frequency band of our survey. Thus, elastic modulus variations and the internal amortisation coefficient depending to the frequency have been determined. To cite this article: M. Chakroun et al., C. R. Physique 10 (2009).
