Office paper de-inking

Significant developments related to the detachment of the toner particles from the fibers in office paper and the removal of detached ink from pulp are resulting in improved de-inking technology. Recent advances in these areas have occurred in de-inking chemicals, enzyme de-inking, agglomeration, magnetic de-inking and fundamental research on de-inking flotation by the use of atomic force microscopy.
