Analysis methods in neutron and X-ray reflectometry

Reflectivity analysis has focused on two key areas; overcoming the phase problem and achieving reliable scattering length density profiles using modelling methods. Significant recent advances are the application of Bayesʹ theorem, the use of a genetic algorithm and the exploitation of magnetic reference layers and anomalous reflection.
