The luminosity of the collapsing presolar nebula

A new attempt has been made to model the presolar nebula and the protostellar sun in a consistent way. For this purpose, a fully implicit 2D-radiation-hydrodynamic code has been developed. As a first step the isothermal phase of collapse is reinvestigated. The influence of rotation on the luminosity of an isothermally collapsing protostellar fragment is studied.
