The kinetic dust-acoustic instability in a magnetized dusty plasma

Using kinetic theory the dust-acoustic instability is investigated in a fully magnetized plasma consisting of stationary electrons, negatively charged, massive dust particles and a component of drifting ions. A detailed examination of the dependence of the frequency and growth rate of the instability on plasma parameters such as particle densities and temperatures, ion beam velocity and the strenth of the confining magnetic field is conducted.
