Comparison of the observational data on flare stars, solar and planetary radio emissions

Observations of non-thermal, coherent, radio emissions from flare stars to those of the sun and the magnetized planets are compared. Their common points and differences are presented with respect to instrumental performances, the characteristics of the emissions and the inferred properties of the source.
