Abstract :
Cesiated volume sources which we call hybrid sources have been reported recently to show improved results for H− production. Here we present results of numerical simulation, in particular the dependence on arc current, pressure and surface to volume ratio of H− production in the hybrid source. The results agree well with experiments.
