Abstract :
For uniform irradiation, a non-supported target has been desired. A magnetic suspension system (MSS) realizes suspension of a Ni-coated glass-microballoon which we call a magnetically suspended pellet (MSP). In this paper, we describe the magnetic suspension system and the mechanism of optical forces.
