Abstract :
A magnetic configuration database (MCDB) storing the results and global properties from equilibrium calculations is implemented obeying physical demands. MCDB is part of Wendelstein 7-X (W7-X) databases and structured for a straightforward upgrading or exchange of software components. Performance and reliability was tested and its applicability confirmed. The database schema allows for further extensions to different device relevant data.
