Abstract :
China Low Activation Martensitic (CLAM) steel was regarded as the research object in this paper, three-dimensional finite element numerical model of two-layer welding by one side was established using FEA software—ANSYS, methods of ANSYS Parametric Design Language (APDL) and life–death element technique were applied to simulate the moving of the welding heat source and the filling of welding material step-by-step in simulation. Three-dimensional transient temperature field of CLAM steel TIG welding with preheating was simulated, the temperature distributions of different points on welded specimen were analyzed quantitatively, the simulated results were verified by Infrared Temperature Measurement Technology, compared and analyzed by the effect of different welding speeds on weld pool.
