Abstract :
Cambrian events in the history of the different terranes comprising mosaic-block geological structures of the Altai-Sayan Folded Area is discussed. On the basis of the complex analysis of the paleontological, lithological and paleomagnetic data, the probable territorial proximity of the Biya-Katunʹ (Gorny Altai) and Bateny (Kuznetsky Alatau) blocks is proved.
