Abstract :
The impact of entrepreneur on firm outcomes in the domain of entrepreneurship is vital.
As suggested by Alvarez and Busenitz, (2001); McMullen and Shepherd, (2006) cited in
Baron , Tang and Hmieleski , (2011) the field of entrepreneurship should seek increased
understanding of the role of entrepreneurs in new venture creation and development.
Many other researches have suggested that relationships between entrepreneurs’
characteristics (e.g., their skills, cognition, motives, goals, values) and firm outcomes are
complex hence involving numerous mediating and moderating variables (Baron, 2007;
Baum & Locke, 2004; Shane, Locke & Collins, 2012).
This conceptual framework is primarily based on Baron’s (2004) suggestions of cognitive
perspective in regarding the successful venture growth. Entrepreneurial cognitive factors
and venture growth have identified as the main constructs of the study and
entrepreneurial learning was developed as a moderator. Relating hypotheses established
and finally an integrative conceptual model was developed to depict entrepreneurial
venture growth. . Finally it is suggests that, more scholarly investigations are required to
validate the applicability of the model.
