Abstract
Can awareness creation on Entrepreneurship aid in the nurturing of Entrepreneurial Culture in a particular
region? Although awareness have been studied in different dimensions, limited research has been done on
the impact of entrepreneurship awareness promotion measures especially awareness promotion by
government agencies on individuals in terms of motivating and nurturing their entrepreneurial attributes,
values, mindset and behaviour. Using a descriptive analysis, the impact of Entrepreneurship awareness
promotion measures in nurturing entrepreneurial culture is examined in Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria.
Findings reveal that to a large extent, entrepreneurship awareness promotion measures does aid in
nurturing some constituent of entrepreneurial culture, with relevant implications for policy making.
