Abstract :
In this study, the role of Information Technology in increasing the productivity of Fars Regional Electric Company has been reviewed.So, five roles of Information Technology have been selected and managers and expert’s perspective has been measured about them. For this purpose, a questionnaire has been prepared about productivity and Information Technology. The Samples consists of 140 managers and experts who are somehow associated with Information Technology. Previous studies have indicated that the use of Information Technology increase speed of processing and control, also cause increasing the accuracy of the information, improvement of communication and security, reducing the organizational expenses, and speed up information storage and data recovery that all of these factors lead to improvement of productivity in organization.
