nnovation Strategy of Government Demak Regency in Developing Agroindustry of Processed Catfish: Using SWOT and QSPM

The purpose of this study is to formulate the right strategy for the Demak Regency Government in developing an agroindustry of processed catfish in Demak. Descriptive analytical research was used to analyze data comprising primary and secondary data, collected through observation, recording, and interviews with three experts of economics, statistics, and agriculture at 14 sub-districts in Demak Regency region. Data were analyzed using Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats matrix and Quantitative Strategic Planning Matrix (QSPM). QSPM analysis recommends benchmarking competitors’ products to gain competitive advantage as the effective strategy for agroindustry development of processed catfish in Demak Regency.
