هيپراستوز اسكلتي ايديوپاتيك منتشر در يك سگ نژاد بولداگ: گزارش موردي

اين گزارش موردي وجود هيپراستوز ايديوپاتيك منتشر (DISH) در يك بولداگ جنگي را شرح مي‌دهد. سگ به بيمارستان آموزشي دامپزشكي، دانشگاه كشاورزي فيصل آباد پاكستان، با ابراز شكايت از سختي در راه رفتن پيشرونده، ناتواني در ايستادن بر روي اندام خلفي و سفتي عضله در ناحيه كمري خاجي ارجاع داده شد. معاينات باليني، هماتولوژي و سروبيوشيميايي به استثناي تشكيل وسيع استخوان جديد در راديوگرافون چهار مهره آخر پشت سر هم كمري (L4 L8) در ناحيه كمري كه موازي با ليگامنت نوكال حركت مي‌كند، غير معني‌دار بودند. تشخيص DISH بر اساس علايم باليني و بررسي راديوگرافيك كه پيشنهاد كننده DISH بود، انجام شد. اين گزارش اولين مورد DISH در بولداگ جنگي در پاكستان را ثبت مي‌كند.

This case report illustrates the presence of diffuse idiopathic skeletal hyperostosis (DISH) in a fighting Bulldog. The dog was referred to the Veterinary Teaching Hospital, University of Agriculture Faisalabad Pakistan, with the presenting complaint of slowly progressing staggering gait, inability to stand on hind limbs and muscle stiffness in lumbo sacral region. Hematological, serobiochemical and clinical examination were insignificant except presence of extensive new bone formation in the radiograph on the ventral of last 4 consecutive body lumbar vertebras (L4 L8) in lumbar region, running parallel to nuchal ligament. Diagnosis of DISH was made on the basis of clinical signs and radiographical examination which were suggestive of DISH. This report documents the first case of DISH in fighting Bulldog in Pakistan.
