Faktor-faktor yang Membantu dan Menghalang Pembelajaran Orang Dewasa: Implikasi kepada Pembangunan Sumber Manusia

ABSTRACT: “Factors that Facilitate and Hinder Adult Learning: Implication for Human Resource Development”. Most psychologists agree that learning is considered happened when student has at least slightly changes. It may be a change of new knowledge or skills, a change in attitude or changes in beliefs. There are various forms of learning that takes place in daily situations. Learning is not necessarily limited to formal environment. In fact, learning process is mostly happened in unconscious and unintentional. There are several factors that can facilitate the learning process, but there are also factors that hinder the learning. It is the responsibility of facilitators / educators to ensure that students can learn eff ectively. Therefore, facilitators /educators should be aware of circumstances or conditions that are conducive to learning and identify factors that can hinder the learning. This article discusses the learning concepts of adult learning, environmental factors, facilitators related factors that facilitate and hinder the learning, and also determine eff ective strategies for learning. Implication for adult learning towards human resource development will also be discussed in this article.
