Abstract :
3-(4-chlorophenylazo)-4-(4-chlorobenzyloxy)benzaldehyde was prepared and reacted with different prepared substituted azo-benzoloxy acetophenones giving some chalcones which then treated with hydrazine hydrate to give the target compounds 3,5-disubstituted pyrazoline compounds which contain two different azo-linkages and two benzyloxy moiteis. The synthesized compounds were characterized by spectral methods FT-IR, 1H-NMR,13C-NMR and DEPT-135.
