Abstract :
The recent paper from Leonardi and La Rosa (2010) aimed to establish the prevalence of celiac disease (CD) in patients with chronic hepatitis B (HBV) infection (1). Previous studies suggest that chronic hepatitis C (HCV) could trigger immunological gluten intolerance in susceptible patients (2).
