Abstract :
In this study, we modify an iterative non-optimal without memory method in [4] [Mirzaee. F and Hamzeh. A, A sixth order method for solving nonlinear equations, Inter-national Journal of Mathematical Modelling & Computations. 4 (2014) 55- 60.], in such a way that is optimal. Therefore, we obtain convergence order eight with the same functional evaluations. To justify our proposed method, some numerical examples are given.
